Rainforests, Waterfalls & Icebergs
Besides the idea of water in various forms, what do these three paintings have in common? Well I’m thinking if I hadn’t painted Tidefall and Iceberg first, Rainforest Beach would have been an entirely different painting.

Marin Magazine Cover Contest
I am happy to have been selected as a finalist in Marin Magazine’s Annual Cover Competition. You can pick up a copy of the May issue, available now, to see the winner and four finalists. To participate in the competition, you have to either be an artist living in Marin, submit an image depicting Marin, or have a gallery in Marin.

Night Sky Calling
The night sky draws me in. Especially when I am in nature far away from city lights. It gives one perspective, the tiny little specks that we are, and ignites a universe of dreams and possibilities within. Celestial events are also superbly fascinating to me and I love the shared awe often experienced worldwide. This year, I eagerly hit the trails in the wee early hours to view the full totality phase during the rare Super Blue Blood Moon.
