Kindergarten Auction Project

My daughter’s Kindergarten Classroom Auction Project that I have devoted many recent hours to is finally finished! We created an Art Cookbook called “What’s For Dinner?”

I painted portraits of each of the children and their teachers (and Headmaster, and Head of Lower school too…) Each child painted and adorned watercolor paintings to dress their portraits. And we asked each family to provide family-friendly recipes to accompany the artwork. We also included some cute quotes from the kids.

The original book was enclosed in a beautiful leather bound custom-engraved album, and then we also created reproduction copies on spill-proof tear-proof paper.

The kids were super excited to see their finished portraits last week in class, as were the parents who got to bid on the original book and buy reproduction copies at our school’s successful fundraising event last night.
