The Photo Review

My image, “Pinnacle” was selected for inclusion in the 2011 Photo Review Competition issue. The competition was juried by Robert Mann, Director of the Robert Mann Gallery in New York. The print version should be published by the end of March. The web version can be viewed here.

The Arctic Circle Residency, 2013

I am thrilled and honored to be invited to participate in The Arctic Circle residency in the fall of 2013! Aboard an ice-class expedition sailing vessel, a small group of international artists, scientists and educators will voyage on a collaborative mission into the High Arctic while pursuing personal projects. This all takes place in Svalbard, a mountainous Arctic archipelago just 10 degrees from the North Pole.

I am really excited about this incredible opportunity and look forward to the upcoming planning, idea possibilities, and fundraising before I embark on this journey. Stay tuned for more details!

Art in Embassies

One of my photographs is on display in the official US embassy residence in Tel Aviv, Israel as part of the Art in Embassies program. Click here for more details about this exhibition and to find out more about the U.S. Department of State, Art in Embassies program. The exhibition will be on display from December 2011 for approximately two and a half years.

I have two paintings and two photographs in this exhibition opening February 24th until May 13, 2011 at the California Bank of Commerce in Lafayette, CA. The exhibition can be viewed Monday through Friday 9 am – 5 pm with an Opening Reception on Thursday, February 24, 2011, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
